OGC Nice draw Roma and Porto in Europa League group stage | OneFootball

OGC Nice now know their opponents for the Europa League league phase following Friday’s draw. Franck Haise’s side will face a demanding campaign, with ties against Serie A giants Roma and Portuguese Porto among their eight fixtures.

Eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers by Benfica (0-4 agg.) earlier this month, Nice return to the Europa League for a second successive season. Last year’s competition saw Les Aiglons finish second-bottom of their group, and Franck Haise’s men will be hoping to improve upon that this season.

Alongside Roma and Porto, Nice have also been paired with Braga, Freiburg, Fenerbahçe, Ludogorets, Celta Vigo, and Dutch outfit Go Ahead Eagles. With four games at the Allianz Riviera and four away, Haise’s men will need to find consistency both home and away if they are to reach the knockout rounds.
