Standard Liège is on the verge of securing a new attacking reinforcement. According to several sources close to the negotiations, Timothé Nkada is about to sign with the Belgian club. The second top scorer in Ligue 2 with Rodez, the French-Cameroonian forward is expected to put pen to paper in the coming days, barring any last-minute twists.

Trained at Stade de Reims, Nkada has played for Austria Lustenau (Austria), as well as French clubs like Avranches and Orléans, where he made his mark in both the National and Ligue 2 divisions. Quick, explosive, and versatile across the entire attacking line, the 26-year-old could offer a valuable alternative to Liège’s offensive unit. He wrapped up the 2024/2025 season with an impressive 17 goals and 5 assists in 31 Ligue 2 appearances.

Talks are reportedly at a very advanced stage, and the final deal could be sealed quickly, with the transfer fee set at €1.8 million. Standard Liège, searching for fresh blood after a mixed season, sees Nkada as a player capable of reigniting his career in a competitive and structured environment.
