Mohamed El Hankouri has officially signed with Standard de Liège this Friday, August 1, 2025. The Moroccan left winger arrives as a free agent in the Belgian Pro League, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Rouches.
Standard de Liège continues its ambitious summer transfer window. With the 2025/26 Pro League season already underway, the Belgian side secures another attacking reinforcement. El Hankouri had been a free agent since his spell with FC Magdeburg ended, where he played since 2022 in Germany’s second division (73 matches – 13 goals – 8 assists).
"Standard de Liège and Mohammed El Hankouri have reached an agreement: the attacking player becomes our 10th signing of the summer, signing a contract for two seasons (+ one-year option)," the Liège club announced in its official statement.
