Over the past few weeks, FC Barcelona have been working hard to secure the futures of young talents at La Masia by having them sign new contract extensions with the club.
A number of youth prospects, such as Orian Goren, Joan Ingles, and Raul Exposito, among several others, have signed their first professional contracts with Barça in the past few days.
Now, Barcelona have confirmed that they have an agreement for the continuation of two more exciting young talents, Alejandro Pastor and Adrian Cuadrado, at La Masia.
Barça announced in two separate statements that Pastor and Cuadrado had signed new deals with the club to continue their development at the fabled academy.
Alejandro Pastor is a 15-year-old winger capable of playing on either flank. Known for his dribbling ability and control in tight spaces, he joined Barcelona from Reus in 2023.
During the 2024/25 season, he scored eight goals for Cadete A. Now set to be promoted to Juvenil B, Pastor has reached an agreement to extend his stay at the club and will sign his first professional contract in December, when he turns 16.
As for Cuadrado, he is a versatile defender capable of playing anywhere across the backline, who joined La Masia in 2023 from the Cornella youth setup.
Like with Pastor, he will also become a part of the Juvenil B setup in the next season. Having turned 16 years old in March earlier this year, he has penned his first professional contract with the Catalans.
While the duration of the deal has not been revealed, it is standard practice for Barcelona to offer three-year contracts to youth prospects signing their first professional contracts – the maximum permitted for players under 18 years old.
