Adam Buksa (27) has left RC Lens, joining reigning Danish champions FC Midtjylland in a deal reported to be worth around €4m.
Buksa joined Lens in 2022 from MLS side New England Revolution, however, he never established himself at the Ligue 1 side, only ever making eight appearances for the club and failing to register a goal. The journeyman striker, who netted for Poland at Euro 2024, was loaned out to Turkish side Antalyaspor last season. It was a successful loan with the Polish forward scoring 16 goals in 33 matches and helping him finish as the sixth-top scorer in the Turkish top flight.
However, despite those performances, there was still no place for him at Lens and he has now officially departed. The deal taking Buksa to Denmark is thought to be worth around €4m and he has signed a four-year deal, tying him to Midtjylland until the summer of 2028.
