Liverpool have agreed a deal with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for the transfer of Darwin Nunez, according to Fabrizio Romano.

A fee of £46.2m including add ons has been agreed with Arne Slot’s side for the Uruguayan, who only scored five times in the Premier League last season.

However, BBC Sport’s Sami Mokbel says nothing has been agreed yet, with a deal dependent on Nunez agreeing personal terms with the Saudi club. The 25-year-old has been at Liverpool since June 2022, after joining from Benfica in an £85m deal, with his departure representing a significant loss.

Everton have opened talks with Manchester City over the possibility of signing Jack Grealish. David Ornstein says the Toffees have approached City with a season-long loan rather than a permanent deal, with any potential deal “not guaranteed to materialise.” The 29-year-old took part in the club’s open training session in front of fans yesterday.

Elsewhere, Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have contacted Liverpool over the signing of Harvey Elliott, according to the Athletic. The Premier League Champions value the 22-year-old at £40m as the German side hunt for a replacement to the Chelsea-bound Xavi Simons. Elliott only started twice in the Premier League last season, making 29 appearances in all competitions.

Talksport report that newly promoted Sunderland are eyeing up free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin after his departure from Everton. However, the 28-year-old is keeping his options open with hope of a bigger move. This comes after the Black Cats agreed a deal with Chelsea for their young Spanish forward Marc Guiu.

Finally, West Ham remain interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey this summer, say the Mail. The 24-year-old is highly regarded by manager Unai Emery, but the club have been willing to entertain offers this transfer window, valuing the Englishman at £40m. Despite West Ham’s interest, Ramsey is said to be not yet convinced by joining a rival of Villa’s.
