Austin FC sign Red Star Belgrade winger

Austin FC have acquired Ghana international winger Osman Bukari from Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. The 25-year-old will sign with the club through 2027 as a Designated Player, and demanded a reported transfer fee of $7 million.

Bukari has racked up a tally of 47 goals and 55 assists in 205 matches in stints with Red Star Belgrade, Nantes, Gent and AS Trenčín.


Emanuel Reynoso departs Minnesota United after tumultuous 2024

Minnesota United announced the departure of one-time star attacker Emanuel Reynoso Thursday afternoon. The Argentine hase made the move to Mexican side Club Tijuana for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Off-field issues have seen Reynoso’s career at Minnesota come to a disappointing end, but he was arguably one of the top attackers in the division during his time.


Cruz Azul close in on Giorgos Giakoumakis signing

Mexican giants Cruz Azul have sent their second bid to sign Giorgos Giakoumakis from Atlanta United, according to reports from the Athletic this week.

The bid up to $10m including add-ons and Cruz Azul are now awaiting a response. The striker is arguably one of the most prolific in MLS with five goals 10 games this season.

Sources in the USA have said that he will not leave, but reports in Mexico contradict their American counterparts.
