Wahbi Khazri is a surprise omission from the Montpellier HSC group chosen to face FC Nantes on Friday evening. Over the course of the season, the Tunisian international has played an increasingly reduced role in Michel Der Zakrian’s side, especially since the arrival of Tanguy Coulibaly, who is expected to start once again against Les Canaris.

Der Zakarian is not expected to spring any surprises. Mousa Al-Tamari is set to start on the bench once again. The Jordanian forward has lost his place in the starting XI at Montpellier since returning injured from the Asian Cup in the winter. However, he is proving to be a decisive player off the bench. He will be hoping to have a similar impact against Les Canaris, as MHSC look to grow the gap to the relegation places further.
