AS Monaco will be without key midfielder Denis Zakaria when they face Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Louis II on Friday evening. The Swiss international misses out through suspension.

Zakaria’s absence will likely see Adi Hütter revert to a back three, having gone with a back four in the last three Ligue 1 games. In midfield, Youssouf Fofana will play in the deeper role with Aleksandr Golovin partnering him. Takumi Minaimino will play in a more advanced position, closer to Wissam Ben Yedder and Folarin Balogun, who are both expected to start up front.

Ismail Jakobs, Vanderson, Mohamed Camara and Krépin Diatta all remain absent with their respective injuries. They are alongside more long-term absentees Caio Henrique and Breel Embolo; the latter is gradually nearing a return. Having replaced Philipp Köhn in the starting XI last weekend, Radoslaw Majecki is set to keep his place.

Radoslaw Majecki; Mohamed Salisu, Guillermo Maripán, Thilo Kehrer; Kassoum Ouattara, Aleksandr Golovin, Youssouf Fofana, Wilfried Singo; Takumi Minamino; Wissam Ben Yedder, Folarin Balogun.
