Two French sides are among the many seeking to add Carney Chukwuemeka (21) to their squad before the winter transfer window closes on Monday.
Fabrizio Romano reports that AS Monaco and RC Strasbourg Alsace are considering a loan move for the Chelsea player, who operates as an attacking midfielder or left-winger.
The London side are reportedly in talks with Borussia Dortmund about the former England youth international, who has yet to make a Premier League appearance this season for Enzo Maresca’s men.
Reports indicate that the Blues would only accept a loan move for the player who helped England capture the UEFA European U-19 Championship in 2022.
Pathway and playing time will be determining factors for which team gets Chukwuemeka on a temporary basis.
Aston Villa’s Academy Player of the Season in 2020-21 has two goals and an assist in 32 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions.
Two Premier League clubs are also said to be in the mix for Chukwuemeka’s services. In August 2022, Chelsea signed Chukwuemeka to a six-year contract from Aston Villa.
