Over the weekend, 12 of Europe’s biggest football clubs announced a plan to breakaway from the Champions League and form their own competition. Nine of them have now rescinded their involvement.

Earlier on Wednesday, Juventus chief and vice-chairman of the Super League, Andrea Agnelli, admitted that the division was not going ahead.

Juventus, though, are yet to officially confirm their withdrawal, and still remain alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona.
