Memphis Depay’s superb late penalty earned Barcelona a 2-1 victory away at Elche on Sunday afternoon.

Barça were awarded an 84th-minute penalty when Antonio Barragan handled inside the penalty area.

Referee Alejandro Hernandez pointed to the spot following a VAR review, handing Memphis the opportunity to win the game for the visitors.

And the Netherlands international made absolutely no mistake from 12 yards, rifling the ball into the top corner of the net in emphatic fashion.

Two goalkeepers wouldn’t have saved that strike. It was perfect.
