Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe has confirmed that he will not change his decision about his future at PSG despite leading them to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

On Tuesday night, Mbappe starred for PSG as they beat Barcelona 4-1 to secure a place in the semi-finals of Europe’s premier competition.

After having put in a disappointing display in the first leg last week, the French superstar scored a second-half brace to help his team across the line at Barcelona’s home last night.

During his interaction with the media after the match, Mbappe was asked if he would reconsider the decision over his future now that he and PSG were one step closer to winning the UCL.

Mbappe, though, made it clear that nothing will change, as he said: “No, no, no.”

At the same time, however, the 25-year-old admitted that he still dreams of winning the UEFA Champions League with the Parisian giants.

“I have the dream of winning the Champions League with Paris. For sure. It’s another step now against a great team and we’re going to try to get to Wembley,” he said.

“Playing for the team from my country’s capital is very special, I dreamed of these play-offs when I came to PSG. It’s a great day for the club.”

Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the season and he has decided to leave as a free agent in the summer.

An early elimination from the Champions League for PSG would have potentially brought the operation a step closer.

But with them qualifying for the semis and with there being the possibility of the Parisians facing Real Madrid in the finals, an announcement will not come anytime soon.
