A photo stemming from the first-half of Real Madrid’s meeting with Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening will no doubt bring a collective smile to the faces of Blancos supporters the world over.

This comes owing to developments in the aftermath of their side taking the lead at the Allianz Arena.

Real, of course, are currently locked in action in Bavaria, in the first leg of the club’s Champions League semi-final tie with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich.

As things stand with 45 minutes on the clock, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops find themselves a goal to the good.

This comes after Vinícius Jr. opened the scoring in the clash with a little over 20 minutes on the clock.

After drawing Kim Min-jae out from his berth at the heart of the hosts’ defence, the Brazilian dropped his shoulder to surge clear in behind.

From here, Vinícius was picked out courtesy of a sumptuous Toni Kroos pass, which split the Bayern backline wide open.

The former made no mistake in slotting a first-time finish beyond the onrushing Manuel Neuer, putting Real Madrid in early control of the tie in the process.

And Vinícius was not at all shy in making his appreciation for Kroos known, in the goal’s aftermath.

After making his way back to the centre-circle, the 23-year-old was spotted bowing down to his teammate, a deserved show of respect for a moment of sheer class on Kroos’ part:
