Marseille & Lille interested in Porto striker Mehdi Taremi | OneFootball

According to a report by Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi (30) has turned down an offer from Saudi club Al Hilal, expressing his desire to stay in Europe. Olympique de Marseille have reportedly expressed an interest in the player and are considering a potentially costly deal. Lille and AC Milan have also expressed an interest, but no formal offer has been made.

Taremi’s current club Porto are reportedly ready to sell the player. The Portuguese club are reportedly seeking a transfer fee of between €15m and €20m for the Iranian striker, who currently has one year remaining on his contract.

The Iranian boasts an impressive record in Liga Portugal, with 33 appearances, 22 goals and 8 assists. His contributions have been crucial to Porto’s success in the league. He also made a significant impact in the Champions League last season, playing in seven matches and scoring five goals for the Dragons.
