Marseille announce signing of Sead Kolašinac from Arsenal

Marseille have completed the signing of defender Sead Kolašinac from Arsenal.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Schalke in 2017, was out of contract at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

But he has been released from that deal early by Arsenal, who have allowed him to make the move to the south of France on a free transfer.

After passing a medical on Tuesday afternoon, he has signed a deal with Marseille until the summer of 2023.

During his time in north London, Kolašinac made 118 appearances and won the FA Cup in 2020.
