Manu Koné gives first Roma interview: “I’m excited to be here.” | OneFootball

Roma’s last signing before the transfer deadline, Manu Koné, released his first interview to the club.

After joining the Giallorossi on Friday night, Koné spoke to the club about his arrival.

“My first impression is that I am very happy to be here, in this historic Italian club. I’m happy to be part of this great club.”

“I can’t wait to meet my teammates, the staff and to see the stadium. I’m happy to be here.”

“I was convinced by the fact that this is a great club. I know it’s a historic club in Italy.”

“I also talked a lot with the coach and he convinced me too. He explained to me what the club can give me, since he was also a midfielder. He told me that the club has great ambitions.”

“I’m very excited to come here and help the team. I would like to thank the Friedkin family, my entire family, my agents and all those who worked to get me here. I’m really happy.”

“I saw many messages from fans on social media, which made me even more enthusiastic about the choice I made. I can’t wait to meet them, to see them at the stadium and make them happy.”

“Roma is a big club, which I’ve known since I was little. Some great players have played here and I wanted to be part of this story. I talked a lot with the coach and he really won me over with his words”.

”De Rossi? “I saw that he trusts me and made me realise that I can help the team. It’s one of the main aspects that convinced me.”

”It’s true, I know some players, like Enzo Le Fée. We played together in the national team. I played against Evan NDicka in the Bundesliga.”
