Real Madrid striker Luka Jović has left to return to former club Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the rest of the season.

His 18 months in the Spanish capital have been extremely disappointing, with injuries, quarantine rule breaks and falling out of favour making for limited opportunities.

As a result, he has now returned to Frankfurt on loan for the remainder of the campaign in a bid to get his career back on track.

The Serbian moved to the Santiago Bernabéu from the Bundesliga side in June 2019 in a deal worth €60 million.

However, he managed just two goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos.
