Liverpool are interested in signing Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram, according to Italian media outlet Calciomercato.
Thuram reportedly has a release clause of €85 million and would command a sizeable transfer fee to sanction any move to Anfield.
The 27-year-old’s ability to play in multiple attacking positions makes him an attractive option for the Premier League club.
Liverpool have made a flying start to life under new manager Arne Slot but are keen to bolster their attacking options, especially given Mohammed Salah’s uncertain future.
The Reds have also been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt forward and Salah’s compatriot Omar Marmoush, who has been in sizzling form this season.
Thuram was recently in action for France against Italy at the San Siro in Sunday’s Nations League meeting between the teams.
Speaking after his side’s 3-1 victory, the striker said: “I love this stadium; I love San Siro.”
Thuram, the son of legendary French defender Lilian Thuram, has been a key player for Inter since joining from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2023,
Forming a deadly strike partnership with skipper Lautaro Martinez, Thuram has won a Scudetto and a Supercoppa Italia with his current employers.
Inter are fourth in the Serie A table ahead of their visit to Hellas Verona on Saturday.
