Liverpool complete the signing of Milos Kerkez | OneFootball

Liverpool have completed their third signing of the summer window after completing the transfer of Miloš Kerkez.

The Hungarian joins the Reds from Bournemouth in a deal reportedly worth £40 million.

"I'm really happy," the 21-year-old said about his move to the Premier League champions. "It's a real honour for me, a privilege to come to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, [the] biggest club in England. I'm just really, really happy and excited.

"After this, I'll go home and in my hometown enjoy a few days, and then I can't really wait to come back and put the training kit on and start to train and prepare for the season."

Kerkez initially joined the Cherries from AZ in the summer of 2023 before going on to make 74 appearances for Andoni Iraola's side, scoring two goals and assisting six from defence.

Last season was a breakout year for Kerkez, who was elected in the fans' vote for Premier League Team of the Season.
