According to a report from L’Équipe, Lille OSC are not yet willing to let Benjamin André (34) leave for newly promoted Paris FC.
The capital club have been making waves since their promotion to the top flight, buoyed by the riches of the Arnault family and Red Bull, they have been targeting experienced Ligue 1 players. A transfer strategy which has seen Paris secure Moses Simon from FC Nantes.
However, Les Parisiens are finding it trickier to convince Lille to part ways with André. Lille’s president, Olivier Létang, reportedly is a fan of the club captain and wants to see him finish the final year of his contract with Les Dogues.
L’Équipe writes that Lille have not responded to Paris’s initial €2m transfer offer, although RMC Sport have written that the midfielder already has his sights set on a move and has agreed terms on a three-year contract with the Parisian club.
