Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that Colombian central midfielder Gustavo Puerta has left the club.
The 22-year-old has joined Spanish Segunda División side Racing Santander on a contract running until 2029.

Puerta was originally going to join Hull City on a permanent basis, as his loan included an obligation to buy, but the Tigers were hit with a transfer ban, forcing him to return to Leverkusen.
Now, he has found a new club and departed BayArena for good, having made a total of 10 appearances for Bayer 04.
