The Whites are looking to add to their squad following promotion to the top-flight, and whilst it has been a busy window for Daniel Farke’s side, they are still in the market for a full-back.

It’s no secret that Justin is admired at Elland Road, but there were doubts about whether a deal would progress after he was forced off with an injury in Leicester’s defeat at Preston on August 16.

Even though that issue meant Justin missed the Foxes’ win at Charlton over the weekend, it seems the problem isn’t serious, as Leeds are now pushing ahead with the transfer.

That’s after Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath confirmed the two clubs had reached an agreement, with Leeds set to pay £10m to land the 27-year-old, who had entered the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium.

The update adds that the former Luton man is now undergoing a medical, which suggests the move should be completed early next week, and Justin may hope to be involved for Leeds when they host Newcastle United on Saturday.

Justin has been at Leicester since 2019 after signing for the Foxes from Luton Town, with 99 of his appearances for the club coming in the Premier League.

This seems like a good deal for all parties. Firstly, Leeds are getting someone who can provide good cover down either flank, so Justin will push Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson for their places in the XI.

The lack of depth in those positions has been a concern, with doubts over whether Sam Byram is good enough for the Premier League. So, to get someone in with plenty of Premier League experience will please Farke.

Meanwhile, Leicester are receiving £10m, which is an excellent fee for a player who hasn’t always convinced since he returned from a few serious injuries earlier in his career.

We know their situation means that sales are necessary to help Marti Cifuentes bring players in, and this could trigger a busy final week as the Spaniard looks to build a team that can bounce back at the first attempt.

From Justin’s perspective, the chance to return to the Premier League is a no-brainer, and it will be interesting to see how this move works out for him over the next few years.
