Leicester City forward Grant completes loan move to Glasgow City
FAWSL Full-Time
The 26-year-old Scottish international attacker joined Leicester City in the summer ahead of their debut campaign in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League but she has struggled with an injury and has been given limited playing opportunities when fit.
With Grant having played just 46 minutes of Barclays FA Women’s Super League football this season, it has today been confirmed that she has joined Glasgow City on loan. The player returns to the club which she has previously represented on two occasions between 2014 and 2015 and between 2017 and 2019.
After sealing her return to Glasgow City, Grant said “Glasgow City has always felt like home to me having achieved so much here previously. Having spent the past few seasons in the WSL, it is an amazing feeling to come back to this club and I cannot wait to use my experience to help the club achieve their aspirations for this season. For me personally, this is a great opportunity to help the team continue to win games and hopefully trophies at the end of the season ”
Grant could be available for selection on Sunday when Glasgow City host Hearts in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
