Howard joined Leicester City after leaving former club Reading in summer 2020. The player helped guide The Foxes to the Barclays WSL2 title in her first season at the club and she has gone on top help Leicester City establish themselves in the Barclays Women’s Super League. Howard has gone on to make well over 100 appearances for the East Midlands side in all competitions.

In her time at Leicester City, Howard’s never-say-die attitude has resulted in her becoming a popular player with the fans while she has been a real leader for the team.

The defender was one of three survivors from Leicester City’s promotion-winning squad of 2020/2021, however, she is now moving on and will take on a new challenge this season.

Howard joins forward Lena Petermann and midfielder Saori Takarada in leaving Leicester City in the close season. Leicester City head coach Amandine Miquel is expected to begin to add new faces to her squad in the coming weeks.
