Latest UEFA ranking system places Rangers in SHOCK position

Rangers have been confirmed Europe’s second-best performing team of the past five years after UEFA’s latest ranking table by respected football data analysis Swiss football was released, placing only Dutch giants Ajax ahead of the Famous.

In yet another accolade for Rangers, the side beat every other European luminary such as Man City, Liverpool, Juventus, PSG and Bayern to runners-up spot, amid results which reflect a combination of European attainment and domestic achievement.

This list, UEFA’s ranking system for the past half decade, reflects Rangers’ stunning European achievements for the past 4 years.

If it was all about domestic only, we’d be nowhere to be seen given our poor return since 2012.

But it’s all about Europe,  and how teams help their country’s coefficient, which sees Celtic in 19th place because of their past qualification to the Champions League and the way the coefficient is divided up per nation.

But the switchover which sees 18/19 now included sees Rangers scale the heights due to our extraordinary European runs and that final.

There’s no place for Frankfurt despite winning last year’s UEL because they have been nowhere in Europe until then.

But Rangers?

Consistent last 16 then a final – only Ajax have done more for their country than Rangers.

Incredible.
