Kuyt backing Man Utd target Ten Hag for 'top team' move | OneFootball

Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt says Ajax coach Erik ten Hag is ready for a big club move.

Ten Hag is in talks with Manchester United about their vacant manager's job.

Kuyt told Goal: "Ten Hag is a fantastic, experienced coach. He has done his apprenticeship with Bayern Munich's reserve team, then Utrecht and now at Ajax. He is a fantastic coach who has developed so much, on and off the pitch.

"I know that some doubted his level of speaking English, his performance in front of the camera. But you see him grow every week as a coach and I think he can do a fantastic job in all the top teams in Europe.

"His tactics, his way of thinking about football, is very interesting and it would be fantastic if he got a chance in a top team."
