Liverpool have confirmed the signing of German wonderkid Florian Wirtz on what is a British-record transfer.
The Reds have added the Bayer Leverkusen man to their already impressive squad, just a few weeks after they were confirmed as Premier League champions.
Wirtz is widely regarded as one of the best attackers in Europe right now, having been heavily linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
But the 22-year-old has opted to join Arne Slot's side with several reports claiming the deal will cost €137.5m in total, making him the most expensive player in the history of the English top flight.
Liverpool's previous record transfer was their €85m deal for Darwin Nunez back in 2022 whilst the league record is Moises Caicedo's move to Chelsea for €125m.
The first chance Liverpool fans may get to see Wirtz is when the Anfield outfit face Preston on July 13.
Liverpool then travel to Asia for games against Milan and Yokohama FM.
