Camilla Küver is expected to be out for six months after sustaining a serious knee injury during Friday’s Bundesliga match against FC Carl Zeiss Jena.

SGE defender Camilla Küver tore her cruciate ligament in the match against FC Carl Zeiss Jena. The Germany U20 international twisted her knee after around an hour of Friday’s game, without any contact from an opponent, and is expected to be out of action for Eintracht Women for six months. Sporting director Siegfried Dietrich reacted to the news: “Camilla’s injury is a shock for all of us. It’s a bitter blow for her personally and also for the whole team. The entire Eagles family is behind her. We all wish Camilla the best for a speedy recovery and a good healing process!”
