The EFL have announced their recipients for the end of season awards.

In no shock to anybody, Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has been awarded manager of the season, as his Clarets dazzled their way to automatic promotion back to the Premier League.

The EFL’s Championship player of the season awarded was given to Middlesbrough’s Chuba Akpom, whose 28 goals in the league so far has his Boro side well on course for the promotion playoffs.

Finally, EFL Championship Team of the Season was made up of the following top performers.

Ben Wilson, Connor Roberts, Anel Ahmedhodzic, Tom Lockyer, Ian Maatsen, Alex Scott, Josh Brownhill, Nathan Tella, Iliman Ndiaye, Chuba Akpom, Viktor Gyokeres.

The EFL season is not yet over, but so far it has been one heck of a campaign!
