The Vancouver Whitecaps hope to rectify fan disappointment after three Inter Miami stars missed Saturday’s MLS clash.

Canadian fans were eagerly anticipating the chance to see Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at B.C. Place.

However, only Alba was available while the other three remained in Florida causing heaps of fan frustration online.

The Whitecaps subsequently confirmed they will now offer free tickets in attempts to make up for fan disappointment.

“As a thank you for your continued support, all fans in attendance tonight for our game against Inter Miami CF will receive a complimentary ticket to a future 2024 regular season match,” said the statement on Saturday.

The club also offered 50 per cent off food and beverages during the clash which had sold more than 50,000 tickets.
