Juventus Seek Cut-Price Move for Lazio Winger – The Figures Revealed | OneFootball

Juventus are reportedly working to poach the services of Lazio winger Mattia Zaccagni in the summer. The player’s contract will expire in June 2025, so the Bianconeri are looking to take advantage of the situation to secure an agreement for relatively low figures.

The 28-year-old joined the Biancocelesti in the summer of 2021 after making a name for himself at Hellas Verona. He almost immediately established himself as a protagonist in the starting lineup while also becoming a fan favourite thanks to his exploits in some of the previous editions of the Derby della Capitale.

However, the winger’s contract will expire in 15 months, leaving his future at the club in great jeopardy. So according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus are hoping to pounce on the situation. He revealed the details on his website Alfredopedulla.com.

The Bianconeri are reportedly offering the Italy international a three-year contract with an option for another season. The deal would guarantee the player a net salary of 3.5 million euros per year in addition to bonuses. Pedulla also adds that Juventus have received the green light from Zaccagni, as his contract talks with Lazio have stalled recently.

The journalist believes the Biancocelsti would have to match the Old Lady’s wage offer (3.5M) if they’re still hoping to put the player’s signature on a new deal. Otherwise, it would be best to sell him in the summer rather than losing his services a year later, as could be the case with Felipe Anderson who’s also heavily linked with a free transfer to Juventus.

Finally, Pedulla believes an offer worth 15 million euros (rising to 20M with various add-ons) could be enough to sway Lazio given the current circumstances.
