Juventus After Manchester United and Arsenal Target

Juventus have joined the race for Viktor Gyokeres, which has turned heads with his stellar performances with Sporting CP in the last couple of seasons. They have to battle at least a pair of Premier League giants, starting with Manchester United and Arsenal, Fabrizio Romano reports (via SOSFanta).

The Bianconeri had been paying close attention to the marksman under their previous regime. The new one inquired as well. Cristiano Giuntoli had met his entourage in London a few weeks before getting the ax. The striker is likely to leave Portugal for €65/70M, but there could be room to negotiate on the formula.

Juventus haven’t started bargaining for Gyokeres but are interested. Arsenal seem to prefer Benjamin Sesko at this stage. Manchester United, which are helmed by his former coach Ruben Amorim, are tracking him with the most conviction. He bagged 54 goals in 52 games in 2024/2025.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils are also keen on Victor Osimhen, who has declined a massive offer from Al-Hilal, which would have activated his release clause. They could dangle Joshua Zirkzee in the package.

Our Take on Juventus and Gyokeres

While the transition to a more competitive and defensive-minded league would be a question mark, he’d be pretty much the best they could get to address the position. However, it’d be surprising if they emerge victorious at those numbers and with two English powerhouses in the mix. They also have to sell Dusan Vlahovic first. Manchester United are the most logical landing spot for him, but he might prefer to play in the Champions League right away. Perhaps the Bianconeri shouldn’t be discarded for Osimhen despite Giuntoli’s ousting.
