In a decisive move to reinforce their defensive options, Juventus have accelerated their pursuit of Manchester United full-back Noussair Mazraoui, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport. The Serie A side, under the guidance of manager Igor Tudor, is prioritizing the acquisition of a flexible wide defender to add both depth and tactical variety to their backline.

This urgency stems from a recognized need for greater stability on the flanks. Current option João Mário is still acclimating to the demands of the league, while the more attack-minded Nico González offers less defensive solidity. This has prompted the Turin club to seek a specialist in the position.

To facilitate new arrivals, Juventus are also working on outgoing business. Argentine wing-back Nahuel Molina, who is not in Tudor’s project, has been a long-term target for Atlético Madrid. While initial discussions explored a deal involving Molina, the player is reportedly reluctant to leave Spain with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon.

This has led Juventus to pivot decisively towards Mazraoui. Negotiations are advancing rapidly, and there is growing optimism in Turin that an agreement for the Moroccan international could be reached imminently.
