Atlético de Madrid have announced the arrival of USA international Johnny Cardoso.

Cardoso joins the capital club on a five-year deal having impressed at Real Betis over the past two seasons.

The 23-year-old midfielder was born in New Jersey but moved to Brazil as a child and came through the youth ranks at Internacional.
