Italian giants and Porto offered Barcelona striker Vitor Roque – reports

Article image:Italian giants and Porto offered Barcelona striker Vitor Roque – reports

Barcelona forward Vitor Roque looks as if he will be playing his football in a third different club in the space of 12 months this summer, as the Blaugrana look to find a solution to his lack of minutes. Agent Andre Cury has stated that he will not leave on loan, although the club would prefer a loan deal.

As per Marca, GdS state that Roque has been offered to Serie A champions Inter by Cury, although they do say on loan, rather than the permanent deal that had been suggested. Equally, A Bola state that Porto have interest in Roque, and they suggest a loan with an option to buy in the region of €60m. They also say that Barcelona’s interest in winger Pepe could spark a swap deal, although the Portuguese outlet did state that this could be difficult.

Cury and Barcelona Sporting Director Deco are set to sit down and discuss the future of the 19-year-old Brazilian, but with Xavi Hernandez seemingly showing little appetite to play him, it does look as if he will be on his way out of Catalonia. Barcelona have also had enquiries from England and a number of La Liga sides too, and whether it is a loan or a permanent deal is the big question.
