ISL: Kerala Blasters FC sign Saurav Mandal from Churchill Brothers FC on a multi-year deal | OneFootball

Indian Super League (ISL) side, Kerala Blasters FC on Tuesday announced the signing of winger, Saurav Mandal from Churchill Brothers FC - with the youngster penning a multi-year deal that keeps him at the club until 2025 for an undisclosed fee.

Mandal started his professional career with Rainbow FC and had a short stint with ATK Reserves before eventually joining Churchill Brothers in 2020. It was here that he showed just why he is so highly rated, impressing onlookers with his pace and energy in the I-League.

During this time with the club he made 14 appearances for them. Equally adept anywhere across the front three, he grew into an important part of the Churchill Brothers forward line, chipping in with a goal and 2 assists last season.

“I’m very happy to be a part of Kerala Blasters. It’s a dream come true for me that I’ll be representing the biggest club in the country. I’ll be sharing the dressing room with top players from the country and I’m keen to learn from them," he said on joining Kerala Blasters.

The 21-year-old is Kerala Blasters second signing following in the footsteps of Bryce Miranda who was brought in last week. The addition of Mandal will further strengthen the Blasters' attacking unit as they prepare for the upcoming season.
