Chelsea Women aim for UWCL Final, Man City to extend WSL lead | OneFootball

While Chelsea seek to seal a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, Manchester City look to double their lead over them in the WSL title battle.

Manchester City have a three point lead over Chelsea from one game more, ahead of their trip to Bristol City for whom relegation is likely to be confirmed on Sunday.

Chelsea defend a 1-0 first-leg lead over Barcelona at Stamford Bridge, with over 34,000 tickets sold so far. Lyon take a 3-2 advantage to PSG in the second semi-final on Sunday 28 April at 3pm, which is similarly live on DAZN and TNT Sports 3.

Arsenal are three points behind Chelsea from one match more and visit Everton on Sunday lunchtime. FA Cup finalists, Spurs and Manchester United – whose Wembley showdown has now sold out – are home to Brighton and away at Leicester City respectively, while if West Ham were to win at Aston Villa they would be safe even before Bristol’s evening kick-off.

Crystal Palace will confirm the Championship title and promotion to the WSL when they welcome Sunderland to Selhurst Park, with over 5,000 tickets bought so far. The Black Cats are still in contention for the runners-up spot, currently held by Charlton who host fourth-placed Southampton. Although the Addicks are just three points behind Palace, they also have a measure of 22 to make up in goal-difference, hence the Eagles’ certainty of finishing top.

Birmingham City go to Durham hoping for the victory that could give them fourth spot, Sheffield United have a mid-table meeting with Blackburn Rovers.

London City lead Reading on goal-difference with eighth position at stake, the Lionesses home to relegated Lewes and the Royals visiting Watford, who are also down.
