Milan Skriniar is back in Italy and will be subjected to another swab test for COVID-19 in the coming hours according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Slovakian national team player has returned to Italy having quarantined in his homeland in recent weeks since first testing positive for COVID-19 and should the next test result come back negative, he would carry out the fitness checks and could re-join the group.

Di Marzio however claims that Skriniar will not be available for this Saturday’s Serie A match at home to Parma but Inter manager Antonio Conte could include him in the squad for next week’s Champions League group stage match away to Real Madrid.

If Skriniar, who has missed Inter’s last four games, tests positive again, as 21 days have passed since his first positive test, he will train alone as per the protocol in place.
