Inter’s Serie A clash with Bologna could be postponed to February 23 after the Sports Judge in Italy decided that the fixture will go ahead at a later date.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the decision has officially been taking that the Nerazzurri’s away fixture in Emilia-Romagna will be fulfilled, but that they could appeal for a different date.

Inter’s away match against the Rossoblu earlier this month was unable to go ahead due to a high number of COVID cases within the latter’s squad.

It was not immediately clear what the fate of the fixture would be, but it is now confirmed that the match will go ahead at a later date, pending a decision on when to play it.

The likeliest date to be set for the fixture in an already packed schedule is February 23, although the Nerazzurri could appeal this with March 16 another date in which it could feasibly be played.
