A plethora of Liverpool players have been showcasing their talents on the international stage in various types of fixtures.

Here's a summary of how each Red fared for their countries in Tuesday's fixtures.

Gravenberch shines in Netherlands clash

Ryan Gravenberch has had an exceptional start to the season for both club and country, and he delivered another impressive performance in the Netherlands' 2-2 draw with Germany in Amsterdam.

The Liverpool midfielder registered a sublime assist for Tijjani Reijnders inside two minutes, before Denis Undav equalised for the visitors and then Joshua Kimmich put them ahead at half-time. Denzel Dumfries clawed back a point for the hosts in the second half.

Gravenberch is playing with tremendous confidence right now, and the former Bayern Munich midfielder gave fans another glimpse of his exceptional passing ability. Just after the 20-minute mark, the 22-year-old sent a sublime half-volley pass right into the path of his team-mate who ran through on goal but failed to beat Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo also featured for the full 90 minutes, both having quiet games.

Salah on fire for Egypt

Despite Egypt's comfortable 3-0 win over Cape Verde in their previous fixture, Mohamed Salah was left frustrated as for the first time since January, the Liverpool winger didn't register a goal contribution. He had scored six goals, providing four assists, in his previous seven appearances for his country.

He struggled to find his rhythm due to being deployed in an unusual role. Instead of his usual position on the right wing, he was often seen dropping deeper, playing more as an attacking midfielder than in his familiar forward role.

However, Salah was on fire scoring a sensational goal in Egypt's 4-0 triumph against Botswana. Salah met a fine cross from centre-back Mahmoud Hamdy with a cool finish to grab their third goal.

Trent assists centurion Kane

Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered an exceptional pass to provide the assist for Harry Kane's first goal in England's 2-0 win over Finland, to mark the captain's 100th appearance in style.

The Liverpool right-back has enjoyed an impressive international break, delivering standout performances for Lee Carsley's side after a difficult Euros. His passing range and ability to dictate the tempo were on full display, contributing significantly to England's attacking play.

His precision in delivering long balls and set pieces created several goal-scoring opportunities again during the fixture at Wembley, as he received praise from both pundits and commentators.

Endo's Japan on top

Wataru Endo played a key role in Japan's dominant 5-0 victory over Bahrain, helping his team maintain control in midfield throughout the match.

Japan dominated the game from start to finish, taking control of the ball and generating a number of dangerous attacks.

The Liverpool midfielder’s energy, defensive awareness, and ability to distribute the ball effectively were crucial in Japan's commanding performance.

Kelleher and Tsimikas face off in Dublin

Caoimhin Kelleher and Kostas Tsimikas went head to head as Ireland hosted Greece in a Nations League clash. Tsimikas will be the happier of the two after his side secured a 2-0 win in Dublin.

It is now four competitive defeats in a row for Ireland at home for the first time ever, while their Icelandic coach Heimir Hallgrímsson continues to search for his first victory in the job.

Hallgrimsson said he was targeting this game and it has ended in a defeat – his second on the bounce since being appointed. There were some audible boos around Aviva Stadium, and the coach knows he has a task on his hands with tough games to come next month.

Impressive Szoboszlai stat

Dominik Szoboszlai was a standout performer in Hungary's 0-0 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating the most chances for his side throughout the match. It was just unfortunate none of his team-mates could apply the crucial touch.

The Liverpool midfielder showcased his playmaking ability, consistently unlocking the opposition's defence. Despite Hungary being unable to find the back of the net, Szoboszlai’s vision and creativity were evident as he orchestrated much of their attacking play.

Hungary pushed for a breakthrough but ultimately had to settle for a stalemate.

Mac Allister vs Diaz

Luis Diaz played the full 90 minutes for Colombia as they beat Argentina 2-1 in a World Cup Qualifier. The winger didn't get on the scoresheet and honestly, it's a little bit of a blow for Liverpool that he got the entire game here.

Alexis Mac Allister didn't start for Argentina but did get on the pitch on 64 minutes. That was a surprise - the midfielder had a slight problem and went off early in his country's previous fixture.

Both appear to have come through things unscathed, though.
