Inter have moved up to 12th in UEFA’s club rankings for Europe after reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League this season.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that this season has seen a number of Italian sides move up the rankings, with Roma also going to tenth spot in the rankings as they’ve reached the quarterfinal stage of the Europa League.

Inter’s performances in Europe’s top club competition have become more and more consistent in recent seasons, with Simone Inzaghi guiding the Nerazzurri to the knockout stages last season and now having them poised for a deeper run in the tournament.

This has seen Inter gain points in UEFA’s ranking system for European clubs, taking them close to Ajax, whilst the Giallorossi have drawn level with the Dutch champions in joint-tenth.
