Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has emerged as a target for La Liga rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as Premier League club Chelsea.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatia international faces an uncertain future at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after Hakan Calhanoglu impressed in his role during his injury, leading to suggestions that clubs from across Europe may be ready to swoop.
Having missed much of the campaign through a thigh injury picked up during Croatia’s UEFA Nations League match against Denmark in September, as well as another injury on international duty in the World Cup semi-final in December, Brozovic has seen his deep-lying role given to Calhanoglu.
Inter could now be ready to cash in on the 30-year-old and get his €6.5 million per season salary off their wage bill, with Barcelona ready to reignite their interest in him from January.
Chelsea are also keen and would like to pair him with compatriot and former Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic, whilst he could also join fellow Croatia star Luka Modric at Real Madrid.
Inter must make a sale this summer and moving Brozovic on could go someway towards easing the financial constraints at the club.
