Frankfurt Women won 1-0 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen in their final game before the international break.
Eintracht Frankfurt Women won 1-0 away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Matchday 9 of the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga. Lara Prasnikar scored the only goal in the 26th minute of a hard-fought, fast-paced encounter.
Eintracht’s third away victory of the campaign lifts Niko Arnautis’ side from fourth to third in the table. Match-winner Lara Prasnikar: “It was a tough game that we could have put to bed in the first half. In the end, though, the three points are what counts. We’ve been playing together as a team for a year and a half now and we enjoy being together on the pitch – that’s what sets us apart. We’re getting a lot of wins of late and are very pleased as a result. We’ll see where it gets us this season. When we come back from our national teams, we want to show Potsdam what we can do.”
