It was the first official words from Marc Cucurella as a new Chelsea player yesterday in the shape of a press conference at Cobham.
This is the norm for new players to be introduced to the press, and it is a good way to meet the new player and get a sense of the kind of person they are. It is safe to say that Cucurella is a top guy, a really down to earth person who looks like he will be a lot of fun to be around, and also have that winning mentality that we need at Chelsea.

He was taking a lot of questions and was responding with some great answers. One little snippet that caught me was when he was speaking about driving past Stamford Bridge with his family recently and imagining one day playing at Stamford Bridge. And now, that dream has become reality. Amazing stuff.
Cucurella said (per Football London): “I remember with my family, we came to London and on our way back to Brighton, we drove in front of Stamford Bridge. I remember I said to my wife, ‘imagine one day playing in this stadium’.
“Then this summer, I had this opportunity. I think this is a dream for me, playing in this big club.”
