Hull City and Preston North End are among the Championship clubs interested in signing Welsh defender Fin Stevens, Hayters TV understands.
The 22-year-old joined Bundesliga side St Pauli from Brentford last summer, where he spent four years with the Premier League side, playing nine times.
But he has played just twice in all competitions after moving to Germany and is keen to play more football and win back his place in the Wales national team.
He could leave either on loan or on a permanent basis this summer, with Hull and Preston among a number of clubs keen on bringing in the right-back, who is also attracting interest from other Championship sides.
Stevens joined Brentford from non-league Worthing in 2020, having previously been a youngster in the Arsenal academy, joining when he was a kid.
He has also had loan spells at both Swansea City and Oxford United. He played 43 times in all competitions for the latter last season and recorded five assists, helping the club to win promotion to the Championship.
Stevens has also played twice for the Welsh national team, having previously captained the U21 side on numerous occasions.
St Pauli would want to obtain a decent fee for the youngster to leave permanently despite his lack of playing time, however, given his potential.
