FC Barcelona have officially presented their third kit for the 2025/26 campaign, a bold release that will see the Blaugrana step onto the pitch in a striking neon look.

The launch comes at an important moment, as the club looks to avoid kit clashes like the one that occurred in their La Liga opener.

During their first league fixture of the season against Mallorca, Barcelona faced a problem that had not been anticipated.

The home side took to the field in a red shirt and black shorts, a combination that clashed heavily with both Barça’s traditional home kit and their away strip inspired by Kobe Bryant.

The similarities in colours and shorts created confusion on the pitch, forcing Barcelona to consider wearing last season’s green kit again to avoid a repeat scenario.

A throwback to the past

To ensure clarity moving forward, Barcelona and Nike have now accelerated the launch of the third kit.

The design takes fans on a nostalgic journey, with a retro look reminiscent of the famous Nike ‘Total 90’ era.

The shirt’s base colour is an eye-catching neon orange, officially referred to as “Bright Mango,” combined with accents of deep navy blue, known as “Midnight Navy.”

This colour scheme immediately draws comparisons to the 2009–11 Barcelona away and third kits, which remain fondly remembered by supporters.

The inspiration from the mid-2000s Total 90 design brings back memories of one of Nike’s most iconic templates, while giving the current generation of players a fresh, modernised twist on a classic look.

Fans can expect to see the team debut the neon orange kit in their upcoming clash against Levante.

The bright, retro design is certain to stand out, both on the pitch and in the stands, as Barcelona aim to light up the season in more ways than one.
