An insight into the considerable sum which La Liga giants Barcelona have secured through a combination of outgoings and sell-ons this summer has on Monday been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards the Blaugrana as having benefitted financially from five separate transfers.
The most direct was that of Álex Valle, sold to Italian outfit Como following a half-season on loan with Cesc Fàbregas’ side.
Adding to this operation, though, were a quartet of indirect payments, owing to moves on the part of players previously on the books in Catalunya’s capital.
Specifically, Barcelona secured percentages of the fees paid for all of Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham United), Ludovit Reis (Club Brugge), Ilaix Moriba (Celta Vigo), and Álex Collado (Al-Shamal).
So, what does all of this activity mean when it comes to the books at the Camp Nou?
As per a report from Sport, Joan Laporta and co. have seen their accounts boosted by a sum of €16.5 million this summer.
