A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga heavyweights Barcelona is inching towards the exit door once more.
That’s according to transfer insider Santi Aouna, who points towards Ansu Fati as the player in question.
The name of wide-man Ansu has of course been an altogether prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the out-of-favour Spaniard had been identified as a leading transfer target on the part of Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
Talks, in turn, have long been opened between the respective boards at the Camp Nou and Stade Louis II.
Recent days had seen it suggested that negotiations had hit something of a roadblock, as the parties struggled to find common ground on the terms of a deal.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the transfer now appears to be firmly back on track.
As per a report from Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato:
‘The Spanish champions – seeing that no offers were arriving for their protégé – have decided to reconsider their stance (on the terms of a sale). Since then, discussions are moving in the right direction, as we can tell you that they are currently moving towards a loan with Monaco partially covering Fati’s salary.’
