For the third consecutive game, America will not have Henry Martín, since he has not managed to recover from the injury he presented during his spell with the Mexican National Team at the end of March.

Henry has been one of the finer performers in Liga MX this season, bagging six goals so far in the 2021 Guard1anes tournament.

Before going with El Tri on their tour of Europe, the forward had featured 12 times in the tournament (nine starts) and is the club’s scoring leader.

The belief is that Henry could indeed return this weekend, however, manager Santiago Solari does not want to risk him and would rather have the player at 100 per cent for the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League and for the Liguilla.

However, Solari will have an otherwise full squad this weekend as Nicolás Benedetti has returned while Bruno Valdez featured in the Concacaf Champions League, going the full 90 minutes.
